As I began working on a new project, I was quickly reminded that it’s like an energetic, constant, and creative overflow that soon occurs. When I begin to design something, my mind enters into “design world mode,” and it truly never stops! My thoughts become saturated with colors and shapes while projecting the visual onto a story board headed for something great! I start with a main objective whether it be a color or an object and start layering it. Handsome-glam is one of my favorite descriptions—as it balances both gender styles! I “listen” to my eyes to hear what they want to see! Sometimes it’s a much needed reflective surface like mixing metals or mirrors, and sometimes it’s depth in the texture of beautiful fabrics. I am always fascinated with how the colors begin to marry or dance with each other, becoming the energy that ignites and sells the look/presentation. Arranged and presented as visual drama!
